The Pitch o’ Féminin is an activity open to emerging filmmakers with projects from the African continent (Producer – Director – Screenwriter). This is a competition that aims to detect the most beautiful pen in terms of screenplay and thus contribute to the promotion of these young talents in the exercise of the professions of the 7th Art.
The women's cinema fair is open to women of African origin wishing to pursue a career in cinema. The candidate must be in her first or second short fiction project. The candidate must never have participated in an international production outside of her country of origin and residence.
The candidate must be the author of the project with which she is applying. If the film is a team project, she must have the written and signed authorization of all the rights holders.
The candidate applying to the program can be:
- Project Producer,
- Project director or
- Project scriptwriter
The project submitted must be independent (no associated producer).
The candidate must be in possession of a valid passport.
The project submitted must be in English or French.
The project leader must be fluent (spoken - written) in French or English.
