THE HEROINES OF THE FILM INDUSTRY  is a special night organized during the WOMEN FILM SUMMIT to pay a living tribute to the women who have made a strong impact in the development of the African film industry.  So every year, six (6) African female filmmakers with an exceptional background are awarded.
